About the memorial: Window of two main lights with further tracery lights above. Left light depicts St George in battle dress with shield and banner. Right light depicts St Michael, winged with nimbus halo killing the dragon with his staff. Inscription at base with family coat of arms at bottom left of window. Tracery lights at top include badge of Gordon Highlanders; above St George flanked by two Tudor roses and badge of Coldstream Guards above St Michael. The Battlefield Cross for Horatio is at Wickmere- WMO/257983 and he is commemorated on the MCC Members Memorial- WMO/290603

THE ORIGINAL WINDOW WHICH SHE PLACED / HERE TO THEIR MEMORY WAS DESTROYED BY ENEMY ACTION ON 23RD FEBRUARY 1945
