About the memorial: Addition to gravestone in the churchyard of St Michael and St Mary Magdalene Church; The grave is of Charles Danzey who died in 1938 and his son, WC Danzey who died whilst a Prisoner of War in 1917, is remembered here also. The grave is located next to the grave of Major Frederick George Jackson, late of the East Surrey Regt. Polar Discoverer, Explorer and Soldier. There appears to be a mown path to this grave; from the church carpark walk straight ahead to the far boundary and turn left, the grave is a few paces ahead on the left.
