About the memorial: The war memorial in Kippington, Sevenoaks, Kent, is a small Portland stone wheel cross on a pillar with a moulded cap and base. The pillar stands on an octagonal plinth and a four-stepped base. Around the base of the pillar are carved olive twigs, and in the frieze around the top of the plinth is carved an inscription. The names of the fallen are commemorated around the plinth; their rank, name and regiment are listed.
