About the memorial: The memorial is a stone cross raised on 5 steps. It is at the side of the former A1 road in the centre of Bramham Village. The lettering is incised into the topmost steps of the base, also those who died in WWII (with one exception) are incised onto the east face of the cross. The names of those who died in WWI are cast into 3 bronze plaques with a further plaque for those who died in WWII.
