About the memorial: Unveiled 2002. A two-stepped, square base surmounted by a square plinth and small sculpture of an aircraft and small seated figure of Group Captain P. Townsend. The seated figure is set into a dark stone slab with a hurricane at the top of the slab soaring skywards above his head. The dedication is on the sides of the plinth.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
