This stone of remembrance is erected by Lieut. Colonel H.M. Hardcastle T.D. to commemorate the great sacrifice of 23 members of the Bradshaw Cricket Club who gave their lives for their country in the Great War, and the cricket ground is for-ever dedicated to their heroic memory. April 23rd. 1922.Their Name Liveth Forever More. To the glorious memory of our comrades who gave their llives for us in the Great War.
