About the memorial: A war memorial made of marble. The frame is dark grey with a smaller white marble section with black inscription. It records the 2 sons of the Rector of Brandiston who were both killed in WW1. There do not appear to be any others from Brandiston. Preston Anthony Augustus Enwright of Brandiston Rectory. Lieutenant R.A.F died 2nd November 1918 near Mudros in the Mediterranean Sea. Anthony Basil Enright Second Lieutenant Royal Field Artillery. Died on 11th May 1917 from wounds received at Arras while leading an infantry attack. He is buried at Etaples.
