This memorial is in a condition that is verging on unstable. There has been subsidence resulting in partial tilting therefore causing fracture of the stone and mortar joints in various places. Some shattering of the stone has also occurred. Work to prevent further movement has occurred, but much repair work is needed to restore the monument.
