Comments:
The memorial is showing widespread surface soiling and weathering, with significant biological growth and atmospheric staining across the stone elements. There are pronounced dark streaks and deposits, particularly beneath bronze elements, likely caused by water runoff and corrosion products. The bronze sculpture and relief panels exhibit uneven patination, areas of corrosion and surface deposits, with evidence of degraded or failed protective coatings. This is contributing to staining of the adjacent stonework. Inscriptions remain legible but are visually diminished by accumulated dirt and staining. If left untreated, continued deterioration of surface finishes and corrosion may lead to further material loss and reduced legibility over time.
