Comments:
WMT has reviewed the photographs recently added and assessed the condition as Fair. There is some decay to the stonework which is due to the environment in which the memorial is located and the materials used in its construction. It is beginning to impact on the inscriptions but on the whole, these are still legible. At this time there is very little that can be done at this stage to remedy the situation that would not be extremely invasive. WMT will continue to monitor the condition of the war memorial and if it deteriorates further, we will contact the custodian to determine what could be done.
