I represent the East Brent Parish Council, who own the memorial. In April of 2020 I noticed that the memorial appeared to be leaning to the South. I measured the lean and have continued to do so over the passed 8 months. The current lean to the South is 112mm out of plumb over its entire height. From a visual survey it appears that the south side is subsiding and the north side rising from the ground. On the 19th April 2021 The parish Council appointed Chris Pike Associates to undertake a full structural survey of the memorial, to establish the cause of the lean. On the 19th May 2021 a detailed report of the structural survey was submitted to the Parish council. A copy of the detailed survey has been issued to the WMT on 16th June 2021 by the Parish Council
