Comments:
The memorial has been well looked after since the War Memorials Trust relocation grant in 2013 (see WMT link). The memorial is on display for the public to view when the Village Hall is open but can be seen through the glass of the hall porch at any time. The plaque and its wooden surround seem to be firmly attached to the supporting wall. The surface of the bronze plaque is even and free from corrosive deposits; it does not appear to have been subject to over-cleaning. The lettering is clearly legible. The polished surface of the wooden surround is complete, with no cracking or missing areas. There is no evidence of damage caused by damp, vandalism or graffiti.
