Comments:
The front panels, now coloured black, with the names of WWI and WWII dead are in an admirable condition. This maybe is because of the work done through the 2018 War Memorials Trust grant. The base and obelisk are both wholly stable with no signs of cracking or other failings. Yet the sides and back of the obelisk are partially discoloured green - perhaps because of water draining down from the copper or metal plaques. On one side the stucco or plasterwork appears uneven, with the surface in places seemingly failing or becoming discoloured. Photos are being sent to War Memorials Trust. Anthony Bradbury
