This is a stone memorial with a column set on four tiered stone plinths. A ringed cross sits on top of the column. There are inscriptions on all four sides of the main plinth and also on varying sides of the other plinths other than the base. The concerns are around the obvious leaning of the memorial together with it's overall poor state. In particular, cracks are evident in the stonework and there is general staining of the majority of the inscriptions caused either by weathering and/or the abundance of vegetation growth. One is clearly able to see that part of the memorial base has sunk into the ground.
