Comments:
The condition of inscriptions on this memorial. are in stark contrast to one another. The general wording relating to WW1 and the names of those died in WW1 are clear and need no further restoration. The condition of the stone at ground level for WW2 with six names upon it and an inscription also upon it is really bad. The names cannot be fully read and the inscription is unreadable. This seemingly is in marked contrast to a photograph on this website taken after restoration work in 2017. I have sent new photographs to War Memorials Trust. The general condition of the whole memorial is good. It seems stable and secure and the paving around it is also acceptable. Anthony Bradbury 3 August 2021
