Overall well looked after, Copper rail showing a little blue/green and the wall also showing a little blue/green below the bronze plaque, a bit of cement fillet below the plaques need a bit of attention. it's a pity it's in a parking area, as you can see in my photo's a white transit van is parked in front of the memorial. The location of the ORIGINAL Memorial, became an issue as it was on the hill in Caetwmpyn Park as veterans were finding it difficult to access on Remembrance Sunday it was also easy for vandals to deface it. In 1995 the Newbridge British Legion dismantle the Memorial and a new one was erected in the Village.
