Comments:
The main mechanism of the clock inside the church tower is functioning perfectly. The clock has recently been serviced by Johnsons of Croyden, the original makers of the clock. At the time of visiting the hands were not moving as there is a minor problem stopping the hands from moving completely around the clock face. The caretakers of the clock intend inspecting each pair of hands to determine reason for their sticking. As this requires access externally caretakers will wait for warmer spring weather. The clock though strikes on the hour as it should. the caretaker of the clock are not unduly concerned at this time as they believe that it is likely to be one pair of clock hands sticking only. If the problem is greater they will call in Johnsons of Croyden to inspect and fix. The clock faces ate all in good condition.
