Comments:
The bell fittings, including wheels, have deteriorated to the extent they are no longer usable, as a result of their exposure to the elements and to pigeon ingress over the 20 year period the tower had no roof. The tower is now wind and watertight, and debris and bird infestation has been removed. The bells have remained silent and unringable for the past 36 years. The church is privately owned and there is a possibility that the building and tower space is to be tenanted meaning that the bells are now unlikely to be restored and rung in their current position.
