Comments:
Incomplete names or letters faded or damaged. Damaged structure, cracked stones. Long crack running down back of column on left side. Cracking and filler missing from several joints. Cracking and flaking at bottom of most Toadstools. Staining and algae growth. The memorial is on part of the village green. It is surrounded by a low chain fence. It is visible to, but not accessible by the public. The parish council is looking to restore the memorial, and has one quote at the moment. The council is looking for more quotes, and would be interested in the possibility of any grants that may be available. I am Cllr Bob Stanger. My fellow councillor Roger Duffin will probably be contacting you in future.
