The cross at the top of the war memorial was damaged several weeks ago. Carlton Parish Council received reports that the cross had fallen to the ground and broken into several pieces. We are currently meeting with the relevant parties to determine the necessary repairs and to ensure that the memorial is fully restored in time for Remembrance Day.
