4 GR Memorial was last renovated in 2004. Current condition is poor: • Pointing on majority of stonework is badly deteriorated with some loose stones. • Some wall copings stones are loose and have suffered water damage (replace at an angle to improve water run off?) • 10 of the memorial stones (used as coping stones) are fading with some on the verge of being illegible and require refacing. • Floor paving grouting has deteriorated leading to loose and uneven flooring. This presents a trip hazard, particularly on entry steps. • Brass memorial plaques x 11 are tarnished and require cleaning. • Stone walling and stone benches are tarnished with dirt/moss/pollution etc. • Entry gate paint peeling and rusting beneath.
