Comments:
WMT visited the war memorial to gather information about the construction of the war memorial and surrounding wall. The war memorial is in Fair condition with some biological growth but the legibility of the inscriptions was good and therefore no conservation works would be recommended at this time. The surrounding wall was found to be in Very bad condition, hence the overall level of Poor. There were multpiple cracks and spalling of the blockwork and capping stones.
