Comments:
The overall condition of this war memorial is Fair. There is a need for some localised repointing but this would be considered part of general maintenance. The legibility of the inscription is impacted by a build up of lichen but due to the relief carving of the inscriptions cleaning is not recommended at this time. Instead we would recommend that the inscription is recorded elsewhere so that if works are required in the future the inscriptions can be replicated like for like.
