Comments:
The organ fell into disuse about 30 years ago. In recent years the Parish received permission to dismantle and dispose of the inner workings of the organ. A small meeting room was created in the space which this created. The outer pipes of the organ, to the front and side, were retained as a facade so that, externally, it looks as if there may still an organ there. The commemorative plaque is in poor condition. The brass itself is heavily scored horizontally. The red paint used for the initial letters of some of the words on the inscription has faded almost completely.
