Comments:
As result of water ingress in 2016 the war memorial paintings and surrounding walls have been damaged, with a large section of plaster missing. Emergency remedial work has taken place to prevent further ingress, but a section of plaster is bulging out from the wall -seriously threatening the paintings further. The PCC has commissioned a conservation survey do address this issue, but lacks the necessary funds to carry out the work.
