Comments:
As well as the World War I Roll of Honour listing 68 names of those who served, there is a brass WWI War Memorial plaque to 10 Fallen – this is documented as a separate Memorial. Both items are inside the Chapel on the Southeast wall, either side of the altar. The Roll of Honour is to the left of the altar. It is a coloured, decorative handwritten document, framed and glazed with text in Welsh. It lists 68 names, showing rank, initials, surname, the initials of the regiment, and the local area from where the person came. There are three (Thomas) Gee medals shown underneath that are of religious significance and not related to WWI. The RoH is generally in good condition but there appears to be some foxing on the border (which is seemingly separate to the main document) – it would benefit from attention by a professional conservator before there is further deterioration.
