Comments:
The memorial is split into it's component parts. The top section has been modified at some point with the name of the original cement factory/works having been removed. The rest of the memorial lettering is leaded letters and I would guess that the name on the top of the memorial would have been leaded letters too but these have been removed and the whole top section covered over with a thin layer of cement. The names on the middle section are in reasonably good condition but there is some damage to this section with staining. The base seems intact. It would not be too difficult to reassemble the memorial but I'm not sure how successful the restoration of the factory/works name would be?
