Comments:
Buccleuch Parish Church was created from a union of Garnethill Parish Church and Port Dundas Parish Church (which had been destroyed by fire in 1914) in 1916. The congregation united with St. Stephen’s Parish Church in 1946, after which the former Buccleuch parish Church was used as halls by the united congregation. Buccleuch Halls were demolished in 1968 and the War Memorial which was in the premises has since been lost. As far as can be established, no record exists of the Names on this Memorial, who are known only to God.
