Following closure of this psychiatric hospital in 1998 the plaque was removed from the Hospital Chapel in 2002 to Durham Hospital. From there it was passed into private hands in 2009 with an intention to relocate it to somewhere on the new housing estate built on the Hospital site. However it is now reported to be missing. Anyone with any further information is invited to update this record. The pin is located on the hospital site merely for convenience.
