Comments:
The structure of the memorial appears robust although it is leaning forward. The memorial has no shelter and is exposed to the elements and the inscriptions have weathered badly. The lettering is not very deep and the top portion showing his name has all but crumbled away. The lower inscription is feint and just about readable on close inspection.
