It may be that this plaque is missing or has been relocated. I called into the estate office at the foot of the apartment block and, upon my enquiry, was told that there was no such memorial there any longer. The estate manager had worked at the site since the conversion into flats and stated that he was unaware of it. I presume that the WMO entry was largely created from the IWM register details, which undoubtedly pre-dated the conversion.
