12 July, 2011: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. The headstone had much lettering missing and was supported by a timber stake and strap, presumably because it was unsafe. The kerbs were displaced and the vase had crumbled and fallen apart. For these reasons the memorial was considered to be at risk.
