Was asked by my branch of the British Legion if I would go and look at this monument and report on its state. When I got there I found the monument to be in need of a clean hot soapy water should be able to deal with this. This in in line with commonwealth grave commission maintenance schedule. The main item in need of repair is the raised lettering several letters are missing with others broken. The monument appears sound with no obvious damage or loose parts.
