The memorial is overall stable and its pointing is in-tact. It has an attractive patina, however the growth of lichens has made the inscriptions difficult to read - particularly on one face. WMT would suggesting monitoring as there is a threat of over-cleaning the memorial which will erode the lettering, the lichens may also be protected.
