Comments:
The memorial itself is unchanged - dirty and barely legible. What has changed is that the older part of the churchyard in which it stands has been allowed to become a wilderness while other parts are so immaculate you could play bowls on them. The memorial seems to have been abandoned by its community. You have to wade through grass and vegetation two feet high to reach it.
