Comments:
I revisited this memorial today after a 10 year absence. In the interval a hedge had been grown above the level of the wall which can be seen in the 2012 photos. Peering through the vegetation meant that it was possible to no more than to come to the opinion that the stones were still there but that nothing had been done to them. Indeed the area seemed rather overgrown. The site is a block of apartments. Many of them are probably second homes or holiday lettings.as the site is adjacent to Branksome Chine beach - indeed the photos were taken from the beach car park. This memorial is doomed to disappear through erosion unless the management company can be contacted and persuaded to do something. Even then it may be too late.
