Comments:
The plaque is partially blocked by modern cabling, and because of this is difficult to read or photograph. The associated composite elements are no longer in place. The 1984 church guide book describes "the heavy alabaster panels, the bronze and wrought-iron gates" as part of the chancel screen and dating from 1911. However the chancel has since been remodelled and is now open-plan with neither gates nor screen. One of the alabaster panels appears to have been reused as part of a wheelchair ramp. The 1911 paintings on the east wall were of St. Peter and St. Paul. Today's wall paintings are modern works by Charlie Mackesy c.2010. Fair condition for the plaque only.
