Comments:
Following cleaning in response to WMT grant WMO 95679/1, it was noted that the structure of the cross had become unstable and that a substantial repair was needed including repointing and resetting of the main elements of the cross. The images that are included reflect the work that has been done to clean the monument, but the repointing aspect in the grant specification has been deferred. The work on pruning the overhanging tree has been deferred, and the area to the front of the monument has been cordoned off. I can confirm that the contractor has completed the works efficiently and in accordance with the specification
